What’s the difference between classic lashes and Russian volume lashes?Classic lashes are individually applied to a single natural lash in a ratio of 1:1. Therefore, they can only be as full as your natural lashes. Russian volume lashes are multiple fine lashes fanned out to create a much fuller look, each fan can have from 2-9 lashes which is applied to a single lash. With a Russian volume set, the thickness of your lashes can be manipulated.
-
What are cashmere lashes?Cashmere lashes are 70% lighter than mink lashes, they last longer, look fuller & fluffier and can be used on damaged lashes.
-
How long do eyelash extensions last?Lash extensions can last from 4-8 weeks depending on how well you maintain them.
-
Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes? When lashes are applied correctly by a qualified lash technician they will not cause any harm to your natural lashes.

What is an infill? An infill is required every 2-3 weeks to replace any lashes that have shed and to remove any outgrown lashes making them look full again. Infills take 30-45 minutes. You must have a minimum of 50% of your lashes left to qualify for an infill any less would be considered a full set.

What is a hybrid set? This is a mix of classic and Russian volume lashes. Perfect if you want them fuller than classics but not as glam as Russian. This set is great for those that have more sparse natural lashes.

Where are you based? We have a beauty bar based in Goodmayes. Its a 2 minute walk from the station.

Can I wear mascara on my lash extensions? No! At lashesbylxo we do not recommend wearing mascara as you will not need it after you have been lashed and if you would like to increase the longevity of your lashes it’s best you don’t. The cleaner you keep your lashes the longer they will last! However, there are some water based mascaras specially made for eyelash extensions if you really want to.
-
Can I wet my lashes? After having your lashes done wait 48 hours before wetting them, this includes saunas and steam. This allows the glue time to properly bond to the natural lash. After 48 hours don’t be aftraid to wet them, the cleaner you keep them the longer they’ll last!
-
How do I look after my lashes?- Avoid wetting them for the first 48 hours (including; saunas, steam & swimming) - Do not pick/pull them - Brush daily - Avoid oil based makeup and oily makeup removers. - Avoid waterproof mascara - Avoid sleeping on them - Do not tint/perm/curl your lashes - Avoid rubbing eyes - Book an infill every 2-3 weeks
